The Democratic County Central Committee is the grassroots structure of the San Francisco Democratic Party. The DCCC takes positions on candidates, ballot measures and issues, and can have a significant impact at City Hall.

Rafael was first elected to the DCCC in 2006 and again in 2008. He’s been a leader in the fights to end the war(s), stand up for marriage and civil rights, and ensure the neighborhood residents of San Francisco have a voice in city government.
